Who We Are

Grace Shepherd International Ministry

Started in 2004, this ministry focuses on sharing the good news with poor villagers in southern Sri Lankan while assisting them to find ways to earn a living and provide education to children and young adults.   Ways they have helped:

  • purchased incubators to hatch chicks for farmers to grow

  • purchased books, desks, and chairs for a school

  • set up lunch program for school children

  • renovated a school in 2010

  • purchased pepper plants for children to grow and earn money for families

  • built a school 2024/2025

  • set up training programs in sewing, computer skills, and brick-making which all result in money generated for families and community 

FaithHopeLove Ministry (FHL)

The late Pastor Timothy Chan started the FHL ministry in the springtime of 2009, in response to a vision of serving Chinese Canadians, and especially those from Mainland China. There are over 100 churches that focus on ministering to the Chinese community in the GTA. However, there are a lot of non-believers who require active outreach and discipleship.  Since FHL’s inception, they have diversified their ministry from serving Chinese Canadians to ALL who are marginalized from the Christian community and do not know Christ. They serve all regardless of faith, ethnicity, years in Canada, and other diversity issues.

     The FHL mission is to provide wholistic and caring support for individuals and families in their journey around community integration and wellness; and facilitate them to connect with a home church where they will be embraced by a fellowship of believers, nurtured in the Christian faith, receive baptism, and engage in active discipleship and ministry. The Ministry envisions a city where everyone enjoys social connections and resources for their spiritual, emotional, and relational health.

    We praise God for this wonderful volunteer ministry as it continues to welcome all who are searching for community and to know more about His love for each of us.
